Tracy Techau, the Atlanta Area Council Scout Executive/CEO, sent an update on the outcome of this year’s Golden Eagle Luncheon. The pledges this year at the event for 2024, were over $2.2 million for the Scouting in metro Atlanta!
This is going to help achieve the level we need to continue to provide an outstanding experience for our scouts. These pledges along with other fundraising events throughout the year for Friends of Scouting, makes sure every youth in metro Atlanta has the opportunity to benefit from being a scout. It will allow the Atlanta Area Council to continue to provide first-class camping programs at Bert Adams, Woodruff, and Allatoona Aquatics base. Plus, much more!
