Scouts needing their EBOR will have an email sent to them by the District Advancement Chair to let them know which EBOR to attend. \nSession 1: 2:00 -3:15 pm\nSession 2: 3:15 -4:45 pm \nMake sure to bring: \n\nYour Original Eagle Scout Rank Application (Received a copy of Approved Eagle application from AAC)\nOriginal and two copies of Eagle Project booklet (all three parts and project approval letter from district) with all signature pages signed\nLetters of Recommendation in sealed envelopes via USPS\nScout handbook and complete advancement report\nEagle Scout Statement of Ambitions and Life Goals\nFull Scout uniform including merit badge sash\nTwo members of the troop committee to serve on the Board of Review. Please note that Scoutmaster\, Life to Eagle Advisor or the Scout’s parents or other relatives are not permitted to serve on the Board. The Troop (Committee Chair or Scoutmaster or Life to Eagle Advisor) should recruit members to serve on the review committee. SUMMARY:2027 - District Camporee
DESCRIPTION:The Hightower Trail / Soapstone Ridge District Camporee is back! We had a great weekend in April 2026. We are shifting the Camporee to the fall\, so we do not have a conflict with the\nCouncil big event in the spring. It will again be a great weekend full of fun\, fellowship\, and friendly competition! All Troops should plan on attending! \nThe District Camporee will be a great way to kick off the school year. There will be challenges that help all Scouts work on their Scout Skills in order to accomplish the mission. It is also a\ngreat opportunity for Scouts to meet and hang out with other Scouts in our District. \nThe tentative schedule is: \nFriday\, September 17\, 2027 – \n5:00 PM to 8:30 PM – Check-in\n9:00 PM – Leaders’ Meeting \nSaturday\, September 18\, 2027 – \n8:30 AM – Assembly and kick-off\n9:00 AM to Noon – Camp wide Challenges by Patrol\nNoon – Lunch in campsite\n1:00 PM to 3:30 PM – Camp wide Challenges by Patrol\n4:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Golden Ax competition\n5:00 PM to 7:30 PM – Break and Dinner in campsite\n7:30 PM to 9:00 PM – Campfire\, awards\, and OA Call out \nSunday\, September 19\, 2027 – \n7:00 AM – Reville and breakfast in campsite\n9:00 AM – Scouts Own Service and Closing Ceremony \nEach Troop will be responsible for providing a challenge for Scout Patrols to rotate through. Adult Leaders should run the challenge so Scouts can rotate through all the challenges. Patrols\nwill earn points for participating in challenges\, placing in challenges\, and doing other activities such as doing a skit at the campfire. \nIf you have questions or want to help plan the Camporee\, please contact Barry Deutsch (BarryJDeutsch@gmail.com or 678-427-2977) \nNote: The date will not be confirmed until September 2026 (max. of 1 year before the event).
