This event will be held at Chamblee First United Methodist Church. \nEligible Voters – Currently Registered Scouters holding the following positions:\n\nChartered Organization Representatives of BSA Units within the District\n2024-2025 District Members at Large\n2024-2025 Atlanta Area Council Members at Large and Council Committee residing within the bounds of the district.\n\nSlates to be presented:\n\nDistrict Members at Large\nDistrict Chair\nDistrict Vice Chairs\nDistrict Commissioner (recommendation)\n\n2025 District Nominating Committee members:\nLalith Silva \nRecommendation of Candidates:\n\nAll currently registered Scouters of Hightower Trail are eligible to recommend candidates for District Office and Members at Large for 2025 – 2026 to the Nominating Committee.\nRecommendations must be submitted to the committee in writing no later than September 25th\, 2025.\nPlease submit your recommendations to Lalith Silva\, by electronic mail at lalith.k.silva@gmail.com.\n\nNotes:\n\nThe District Chair\, Vice Chairs\, and Members at Large assume their respective roles immediately following the annual business meeting.\nThe nominee for District Commissioner is recommended to the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Area Council and does not assume that post until the Atlanta Area Council Board’s approval.

Scouts needing their EBOR will have an email sent to them by the District Advancement Chair to let them know which EBOR to attend.\nMake sure to bring: \n\nYour Original Eagle Scout Rank Application (Received a copy of Approved Eagle application from AAC)\nOriginal and two copies of Eagle Project booklet (all three parts and project approval letter from district) with all signature pages signed\nLetters of Recommendation in sealed envelopes via USPS\nScout handbook and complete advancement report\nEagle Scout Statement of Ambitions and Life Goals\nFull Scout uniform including merit badge sash\nTwo members of the troop committee to serve on the Board of Review. Please note that Scoutmaster\, Life to Eagle Advisor or the Scout’s parents or other relatives are not permitted to serve on the Board. The Troop (Committee Chair or Scoutmaster or Life to Eagle Advisor) should recruit members to serve on the review committee.
