Two Hightower Scouters are receiving the Whitney M. Young Award for excellence in outreach to youth through Scouting.

The ceremony will be Sept. 29th at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis at 7 PM.

Dear Friends of the Hightower Trail District 

It's with heavy heart that we bring you the shocking news of the untimely passing of Rick Gash this past Thursday morning. Plans for a memorial are still being finalized at this time. We will pass along further details as they become known. 

Spookyree camping for cub scouts at Bert Adams Scout Camp

Spooky-ree is a fall themed weekend filled with a fall festival, creepy-crawly nature show, pumpkin carving and decorating, archery, BBs, s'mores, and a campfire. The highlight of the weekend is the Trick-or-Treating Trail for all Scouts and an extra spooky haunted trail for the older Scouts and adults.

Chartered Organization Representative training scheduled for October 1, 2016 from 8am until 12pm.  These trainings are only offered twice a year so encourage your CORs to take advantage of this opportunity.

Cub Scouts OA Trailblazer Adventure Camp at Bert Adams 9/30 - 10/2

Cub Scouts, join us for a full day of fun at  Bert Adams Scout Camp. The members of the Order of the Arrow invite you and your family to attend an exciting and fun filled weekend including BBs, archery, and more.  Learn Native American History and join us in the dance ring.  Go fishing!  Bring your best skits and join us for a campfire Saturday evening. Come get a taste of what it's like to be a Boy Scout! Lunch can be purchased in advance when you register!
